Rogers came onto the radar as someone who can be a stifling defender, however her overall development puts her in prime position to have a breakout year. Lexy has fantastic speed and she can use this to get deep lane penetration. The repercussions of getting touches in the paint can be lethal. It sets off a chain reaction which causes the defense to be out of position and overtime, out of whack. Rogers loves to play up-tempo, so the defense must engage her early to attempt to contain the attacks.

A player with fantastic speed and finishing ability at the rim. Rogers is most prominent as a defender though. One that generates turnovers in no time that then equal points at the other end. Her havoc-causing nature and pure blitzing speed make her a dangerous threat in transition or press plays. Rogers can raise the tempo at any point, in any game. She’s one of the best at forcing steals and playing the passing lane within the class.
