She’s a gifted passer who reads the defense well and knows how to create high-percentage opportunities for her teammates. She has a tight handle, and a quick first step, that she uses to beat defenders off the dribble. Lilly can also hit shots from mid-range and beyond the arc, and she’s a crafty finisher at the rim, able to adjust in traffic. Her stock has soared this travel season, and she has really caught the attention of college coaches, earning several offers to play at the next level.

Another member of Arctic Rush, Ashcraft is a volume scorer from the PG spot at the high school level but should be more of a facilitator with the roster around her in AAU. Lilly Paige is able to use a quick first step and get into the paint where she’s a capable finisher but excels at creating open looks for teammates. Definitely one to monitor this spring and summer.

Lilly is a jack of all trades type of guard. She can score from all 3 levels on offense and she holds her own as a perimeter defender. She is a crafty ball handler and a gifted passer with next level court-vision. I’ve watched her on numerous occasions and her playmaking skills and ability to run the show always stands out to me. Lilly is probably a little too highly ranked to be considered a sleeper but she impressed me with how hard she played on Saturday as well as her willingness to do things other than score for her team to win. Ashcraft has good size and positional versatility that makes her an interesting recruit at the scholarship level.

Lilly initiated the offense and did a good job finding teammates for quality shots. She was effective off the bounce and found clever ways to score inside. She pulled down rebounds, hit a three, and made sure to slide her feet and not reach on defense.
