Lola is a really talented/skilled hooper with a lot of length and size. The lefty has great hands and a soft touch that allow her to score with either hand around the bucket. She hit a really nice hook shot with her right hand from about 10 feet out on Sunday. Her release is high and smooth which makes it so hard to defend. Lola plays smart and passes it well for her position too.

Lola leveled up every game at Peach Games. Her calm, versatile play stood out especially after showing a smooth jump hook in the paint. Don’t underestimate her lateral speed–she timed up a couple of clutch blocks and dropped 4 assists, including a backdoor dime from the pinch post. On the next level she’s more of a system player who thrives in high-set, 4 out 1 in spread(with creators), or 5 out offenses. Only going to get better with more reps. Coaches, keep your eyes on her.

Richardson continues to get better and better. She runs the floor well, she can score with her back to the basket, and she can step out to three. Richardson is a force on defense who uses her length and basketball IQ to block or alter several shots per game.

Richardson showed off her skill set in this workout. She can easily score with her left, she can counter with her right, and she has range out to the three. Richardson is willing to bang with the posts or drain a turnaround jump shot with ease. She is very talented. Richardson also set multiple ball screens, rolled to the rim, and finished with power. She is a skilled player with a strong basketball build.

Richardson has the entire package. She is skilled, she is athletic, and she plays hard on both ends of the court. Richardson is a force on block and can drive from the high post with efficiency to score. On the boards, Richardson is a beast. She controls the offensive glass and scores with either hand after she snags an O-board. She is prepared for a strong year on the court.

Lola stands 6’2 and is a prospect whose best years of basketball are still in front of her. She is a physical player that does not shy away from contact. Offensively, she can catch with her back to the basket, make a move, finish over the defender. Defensively, she is an able shot blocker and a good rebounder. She runs the floor well and finishes at the rim.

Research Triangle-based NC GBB has one of the premier basketball programs in the entire Hoop State. Prep Girls Hoops got a glimpse of the young up-and-comer at a camp at Queens University. Defensively, she is difficult to score on as she is a threat to reject shots. Rebounding is another strong element to her game. Richardson plays with plenty of confidence and has no problems calling for the ball when she believes she can make a play – those of which she makes plenty of. She had a stellar season on the travel scene with Carolina All-Stars 2026 and is hoping to translate that into more good fortunes this season with NC GBB.

was scoring early for her team making her moves without the ball to get the entry pass and score. She took advantage of some space from her defender hitting the jumper from the free throw line, too. Her up and under move has proven to be difficult for anyone to defend as she is sure to score off of it with her nice footwork.

Lola Richardson is a nice post handling herself in the paint being ready to catch the pass, turn, and shoot. She executed plays well finding the open areas in the moment to catch and shoot. Her height was definitely an asset going after rebounds in the paint on both ends of the court.
