Player Bio

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My style is smooth in and out of the paint. I see the entire court for strategic passes then use my body to create space for multiple shots. Rebounding is a must!

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a silent, assassin on the court. Doing the dirty work isn't a negative. If my coach needs a rebound I got it, we need a 3 pointer I got it, if we need a mid range jumper I got it, and I definitely rack up the free throws.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am a member of Morehead/Saunders Science Scholar, National Sr. Beta Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, 4-H, and Baron Academy.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

As a high school student athlete I have been groomed to be a team player that offers solutions to issues throughout my daily experiences. I interact with teammates and people in general with respect and a desire to assist when I can. I volunteer at our rec center to show younger kids the power of giving back. I am a good listener that's willing to get things done for the greater good.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

The most significant challenge I faced was having 2 concussions within 3 months. It challenged me emotionally because it at the beginning of sophomore basketball season. I wanted to play, but knew my health was most important. The road back to the court was challenging because I had to focus and work hard to get back to full performance. Humbling experience.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for college programs that need a player like me...a bigger sized guard that can offer some post work too, high academic standards, opportunities to learn about basketball from different perspectives, and programs closer to home.
