In a 36–31 defensive battle, Londynn played beyond her years. The freshman finished with 7 steals and led her team with 11 points in Impact Christian’s 5-over-4 upset win by swinging a game where offense was hard to come by. Her instincts in passing lanes and willingness to pressure the ball created extra possessions in a contest decided by five points. When scoring is scarce, live-ball turnovers become huge, and she delivered them.
Already emerging as Impact Christian’s best player as a freshman, Londynn now leads another Jacksonville squad west for a Sweet 16 matchup against 1-seed L.E.A.D. Academy (18–1). If Impact is going to keep advancing, her defensive activity and poise against an experienced, high-win opponent will need to travel once again.
