Junior Love Forde Love Forde 6'2" | PF/SF Nelson | 2027 State OR threw down two double-doubles in back-to-back playoff wins, including 18 points and 10 rebounds against No. 7 Southridge on Saturday night, to lead No. 10 Nelson to its first-ever state tournament. The power forward, named to the Mt. Hood Conference First Team, is efficient to the rim on the bounce and has a soft touch inside and out. The Hawks will battle No. 2 West Linn for the top matchup in the state quarterfinals on Thursday.

Six-foot-2 power forward Love Forde Love Forde 6'2" | PF/SF Nelson | 2027 State OR is a force inside and finishes with a soft touch from all three levels. She has a quick spin to the rim, a nice turnaround midrange jumper, and a green light to shoot from three-point range. Forde is so smooth with a strong frame and can hang for the athletic finish on one end and the big-time block on the other. She protects the paint with her long wingspan and is a strong rebounder. Forde averaged 14.3 points at the Capitol City Classic, including 14 points, 3 blocks, and 3 steals against South Medford.

Six-foot-2 power forward Love Forde Love Forde 6'2" | PF/SF Nelson | 2027 State OR is a mobile big with nice handles and footwork. A smooth and agile finisher around the rim. Uses a controlled spin move to create looks. Strong rebounder and rim protector. Earned All-state Honorable Mention, All-League First Team as a sophomore. Competed on the EYBL circuit with Cal Stars. Multiple D1 offers.

Love Forde Love Forde 6'2" | PF/SF Nelson | 2027 State OR is a standout Junior out of Nelson High School. She plays for Cal Stars in a highly competitive league during her AAU season. Love is a strong competitor with amazing size out on the court. She’s grabbed the attention of many college scouts because of her athletic abilities.

She’s tough on defense and great at rebounding the ball and blocking shots. She has strong post up moves and isn’t afraid to attack the rim on offense. SheIt will be fun to watch her develop over these next two years in high school. She will definitely shine amongst her teammates at Nelson and put them in the running’s for the state finals.

Nelson sophomore Love Forde Love Forde 6'2" | PF/SF Nelson | 2027 State OR is strong, smooth, and agile in and around the paint. The 6-foot-2 forward has a soft touch from the midrange to the rim and was named to the 6A All-State Honorable Mention list. She has nice handles and a controlled spin move to get an open look from close up. She can back down the defender or turn and knock down from the top of the key. She crashes the boards for the putback. Forde is a strong defender inside as well. She battles for position to tip the pass, block the shot, and win the rebound. Forde was named to the Mt. Hood Conference First Team her sophomore year.

Nelson center Love Forde Love Forde 6'2" | PF/SF Nelson | 2027 State OR is strong down low and consistently scores points in the paint. Forde has great footwork, a soft touch, and an effective left hook. If she gets the ball down low, she will score or get to the free-throw line more often than not. Forde scored 15 points with 4 rebounds, 1 steal, and 1 block against Bishop O’Dowd—a team that made it to the third-place game—in the Platinum bracket at the POA Holiday Classic.

Love Forde Love Forde 6'2" | PF/SF Nelson | 2027 State OR is another top young talent who is already sitting on quite a few Division I offers after earning all state honors as a freshman. A dominant presence in the post on both ends of the floor, there are few players in the state with the combination of strength, size, speed, and athleticism that Forde possesses. An elite rebounder, Forde is a double-double threat every night she plays. In addition to being a force around the rim, she is incredibly comfortable catching the ball in the mid-range and either driving or shooting from there. She and Nelson will be major threats in 6A this season with much of the roster returning.
