Lucy put her offensive firepower on full display in 2023 and she looks ready for an even better senior season. Lucy puts games out of reach in a hurry with her sharpshooting. She knocks down multiple 3s on most nights, hitting four or more in several games. Lucy drives by defenders to score floaters off the dribble and has good balance when finishing layups around the basket. She has length, determination, and offensive skills that make her an excellent next-level recruit. I expect Lucy to be an All-Conference caliber player for the Ravens in 2024.

Lucy had an outstanding team camp at Northwood during the summer. She shot effectively from 3, drove hard to score at the rim, and showed the offensive firepower college coaches would like to see at The Expo.

It’s no surprise that Freytag was shooting lights out at the Northwood team camp. She has set school records for threes in a game and in a season, and it’s probably an easy bet that she’ll break them again during her senior campaign! Lucy pushes the pace in transition, is a great attacker, and makes the right read on when to finish and when to kick out to an open teammate.

Lucy had her sites lined up for Royal Oak at Northwood Team Camp 2 and she put on a shooting clinic Lucy buried back-to-back corner 3s, and hit many triples up top and on the wing. She used a high rip move to score a floater off two and then a baseline sweep to beat her defender for a mid-range jumper. Lucy finished layups and her confidence on the court made a lasting impression.

Royal Oak continued their magical post season run with a 5 point victory against Grosse Pointe North. Freytag has been at her best late season and in the playoffs. She tied a school record for most triples in a season and had 24 points in what has probably become the best season in Royal Oak history.

When pulling the Michigan sleigh, we need some up and comers. Freytag seems to have put her game together this season. Already very talented, she has taken it to another level this season skill wise. Freytag seems like more of a confident and explosive scorer.
