How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a really aggressive and team-centered point guard that enjoys driving in but really looks to pass first. I hate losing and try to give 100 effort all the time. I prefer team ball instead of isolation ball.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I think basketball is analogous with life…I think you play basketball similar to how you live life. I play with fire….I support my teammates like crazy, I don’t back down to anybody (opponent), but if you are my coach or on my team, I try to make it a point to submit and listen. I try to understand before being understood. Some times I don’t do that…but I try.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

National Junior Honor Society National Charity League Active Member of Church Youth Group Member of the Volleyball Team

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

While trying to become a better basketball player (and person), I have read several books on leadership…and found that I like the servant leader model the best. I have applied that to my game…I prefer to lead through example and serve others. That might be why I like to pass the ball…I enjoy seeing my teammates score…and succeed.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I know many of my peers have faced for more significant challenges, but my life challenges include: 1) Suffering through the death of my grandparents, who helped raise me. This was the hardest thing I have been through in my life. When somebody you love and depend on dies unexpectedly, it is really hard and disorientating. 2) Moving cross country (while in elementary school).
