She didn’t force, attacked hard downhill off the dribble, and scored determined layups. Lyla pushed the tempo after securing defensive rebounds and sprinted up the floor, then converted a full speed catch and finish bucket off two feet with her left hand. Lyla shot the ball confidently from beyond the arc and swished a smooth step back three from the wing. She’s a compact guard with a motor and skills that translate to the next level.

She works hard to bottle up ball-handlers on the perimeter and is a tough two-way player.

She was a major stock-riser last summer and will be a point guard prospect to keep a close eye on for HB Elite 17U at the PGH MI College Tour III.
