Macey played up with the high schoolers and fit right in at the P2W Headliners Invitational Showcase. She showed good footwork during drills, jump stops, and step-through pivots. Macey made smart flex cuts across the lane and shot the ball with good form from beyond the arc in the games. She crashed the glass to score a putback, caught an entry pass with soft hands, pivoted, and scored the layup. Macey had a solid day for Team Fever and is going to make an immediate impact at the high school level.

Macey caught my attention immediately during check-in before the showcase. Her height and strength as an 8th grader aren’t something you see every day. Macey muscled her way to the rim front and won her individual rebounding battles. She protected the paint on defense, delivered accurate passes, and demonstrated qualities that will make her a phenomenal forward prospect. Macey earned All-Showcase Third Team honors and is going to be an exciting addition to the Walled Lake Northern program in a year.

Macey controlled the paint with her strong post play, consistently securing position and dominating the boards. After grabbing defensive rebounds, she showcased her court vision by delivering accurate, long outlet passes to ignite the transition game. Her presence inside made a big impact on both ends of the floor.
