This will be a big spring/summer for Belanger. Hopefully she’ll take advantage of the opportunities in front of coaches because she’s got a lot to offer some of these programs. She’s a top 15 player at the position in the class and if she’s able to go on a run, Maddie will climb the ranks even higher.

Belanger has the tools to take her game to another level. She’s long, mobile, can create for herself in the post as well as around the short corner areas. Maddie can also be a serious deterrent as a shot-blocker. She meets players before they get to the spot and commits to affecting rim drives. Belanger can deliver a great dela of value.

Belanger will be an intriguing name to watch this season. Her agility, creative touch around the rim and athletic defensive nature make her unique at the position. Maddie is likely in for a big year.

Belanger has athleticism, size, dexterity and agility that propels her as a stretch big. Maddie likes to shoot the midrange as well as taking opposing bigs of the dribble. Bringing posts out the paint, allowing for her to have more space to operate as she crafts lane drives. Not just a one-way player though, the defense Maddie provides can be grand over the course of the game. As she remains engaged, the opposing team’s scorers must be wary of where she is.

A very hardworking big that finds ways to be successful down low. Even if Maddie isn’t getting valid looks in the post, she’ll make a difference securing boards no matter where she’s stationed. Belanger’s resourcefulness makes her a reliable option at all times.

Maddie can be the perfect complementary forward or step up and take on the heavy responsibility of carrying the weight of the offense. Belanger doesn’t care how she gets it done; she just makes it happen. The 5’11 forward made a large splash as a freshman and shown even more improvement in her 2nd season with the Patriots. Her team can count to play through her when times get rough considering her stability at the position. Her game is still evolving too and with her resourceful game, she can be such a treasure.
