Maddie Dustin Maddie Dustin 5'9" | PG Cascade | 2024 State OR has been one of the top players in all of 4A throughout her whole four year career at Cascade. She was the second leading scorer of the tournament, averaging 16.7 points per game while also shooting 90% from the free throw line. Dustin also chipped in 6.0 defensive rebounds and 1.7 blocked shots per game on her way to a third place finish in the state. She was consistent across all three games with 20 points, 9 rebounds, 2 steals, 1 assist, and 1 block against Klamath Union; 15 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals, and 1 block in the loss to Astoria; and 15 points, 5 rebounds, 3 blocks, 1 assist, and 1 steal in the win over Philomath. Dustin is heading to play Division I golf at Hawaii next year.

Maddie Dustin Maddie Dustin 5'9" | PG Cascade | 2024 State OR is another top player at the 4A level who will be vying for all sorts of individual awards this season while trying to lead her Cascade Cougars on a deep postseason run. Dustin is undoubtedly one of the best shooters in the state, often knocking down at least four from anywhere beyond the arc in most games, and combine that with her lightning first step and her ability to finish at the rim at full speed, she is a nightmare for opposing defenses to try to stop. She is the type of player who can take complete control of a game by doing it all. She logs double-doubles in a large number games with her ability to crash the boards and makes her presence constantly known on the defensive end, as seen in her 32 point, 10 rebound, 5 steal performance against Central last season. Dustin was the Oregon West Conference player of the year while leading the Cougars through undefeated conference play, as well as first team all-state and OBCA second team all-state. After a first-round exit in the state tournament last season, Dustin and Cascade will be hungry for redemption and her talent will be on full display.
