Coming into this season, her role expanded from what it was last year, and she didn’t disappoint. Even with the loss in the Final Four, her presence made all the difference for this team throughout the year. She did what was needed on offense and constantly frustrated opponents on defense.

In the game of the night Maddie came up with timely baskets when her team needed them most by staying active around the rim on offense. She found ways to finish through traffic and on second-chance opportunities in big moments. Defensively, she anchored the paint as a help-side presence while also being willing to step out and defend on the wing, showing her versatility on that end of the floor.

Maddie has gotten better at getting to her spots on offense and converting. She lets the game come to her, never forcing the issue. On defense she changes everything making her the most impactful players on the floor.

Maddie came in aggressive and set the tone with her assertive offensive play. She didn’t hesitate to take open shots and made defenders stay honest. Her size created matchup problems and gave defenses fits.

Maddie stood out for her University team this season by playing multiple roles and defending a variety of positions. Her versatility was a game-changer, allowing her team to adapt and come out victorious in key moments. She impacts the game in several ways, from controlling the boards to locking down opponents. Few players can match her ability to influence both ends of the floor like she does.

Maddie played a big role in helping her University team go undefeated this season. She played well in the high-low game, being able to operate from both the high post and low post, whether passing or finishing at the rim. Defensively, she switched to the perimeter when needed or held her ground in the paint.

Offensively, McNair distributes the ball to open teammates and minimizes turnovers as much as possible while taking care of second-chance opportunities. Maddie boxes out her matchups well and finds herself securing a plethora of rebounds on defense.

The junior wing did a little bit of everything leading the team with seven rebounds, three of them coming on the offensive end. She found her own shots while also creating looks for her teammates with her passing.
