Madelyn got stronger as the event wore on, upping her point totals from 6 to 8 to 10 to 15. Consistency is a major area of focus. Drucker is heavily reliant on her jump shot, but when she does decide to use her strong frame and attack the basket, she is effective, especially good getting to her left hand. Madelyn rebounds well for a guard, anticipating where caroms will land.

Jackson County made a statement with back-to-back wins with just seven players, thumping Dawson County 47-20 and pulling away from Denmark 53-35. Drucker stepped up, showcasing improved endurance as she tallied 12 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals against Denmark after posting 10 points, 5 assists and 2 steals against Dawson County. Madelyn sank four threes on the day and had some nice coast-to-coast takes to the rim with her left hand. Drucker earned Third Team All-League honors, tallying 7.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, 3 assists and 1.3 steals while netting 10 threes across eight games.

The reigning Class 5A Freshman of the Year did what helped her earn the award last season – a little bit of everything – in a loss to Lanier. Drucker recorded a team-high 8 points, a team-high 5 rebounds, a team-high 4 assists and 2 steals in the 41-34 defeat. Drucker found success in the paint with her in between game, showing off a short push floater from about 7-feet. In Game 2, a 45-28 win over Denmark, Drucker picked up 5 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steal while getting to rest the final 11 minutes of the game. Demanding the ball to serve as a stabilizing presence against pressure or when plays start to break down is the next area of growth as she strives toward being a leader on the floor.

Instinctive defender with a knack for poking balls loose and digging on drives. Active rebounder from the guard spot. Developing offensive game—getting more consistent with her pace and shot creation. Shows promise with her pull-up game and finishing ability. Growth as a scorer will round out her overall impact.

The freshman nearly double-doubled in her first regular season start, posting 11 points, 9 rebounds, 2 steals and 1 block. Drucker was aggressive looking for her offense, letting it fly from the perimeter. She will need to continue to improve her court awareness and take mid-range jumpers or threes instead of long twos with her feet on the line, but Madelyn was very effective in her first game, logging major minutes helping the Panthers try to advance the ball against a ballhawking Oconee press.
