About Madelyn

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Point guard. Slasher, quick tempo, outside threat that is shifty that can get to the net. Lock down D player

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My personality is driven, fun, disciplined, and passionate. I strive to have a Mamba mentality and keep a good attitude towards everything. Also to keep a good mistake response when things don’t go my way. I enjoy uplifting my teammates and elevating the group around me.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I play for Or3gon Tripl3, a traveling club that traveled to California, Washington, Las Vegas, Chicago, etc. I made honor roll and maintained good grades well traveling for basketball.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed leadership, teamwork and commitment. Playing basketball has taught me about myself and life lessons that I will carry forever. I have learned teamwork and leadership because of my position as a point guard. I have learned commitment because of the teams I have played on and committing my self to give 100% everyday.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have gotten cut 1 time in my entire life and instead of giving up I came back harder and made the team the next year because of my hard work and discipline. I practiced every day before practice to get that spot, this lesson is apart of who I am as a player.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking to play at the highest level. D1 or D2, but my goal is to play D1. I am looking for a college with good education and a place that aligns with my goals in basketball and life.
