It’s going to be very interesting to see how IC – Liberty competes this Winter. They will return most of their producing roster from a year ago, as they look to make it to the State Tournament once again for a final go-around with their upperclassmen lead squad. Someone from this team, who is still figuring out their collegiate future is

. Meyer is a glue-guy. A player that willing to do whenever is needed for the team to be successful. She works hard, stays locked in during the off-season for travel ball, and she is always willing to be a study of the game. This Winter she is going to be a plug-and-play role player for the Liberty team and that could take them places before things are said and done.

over the last six months has really shown her worth on the basketball court. She might not be the one to score 30 for you as a coach but she will get her own, while helping in every other facet of the game. She is someone that is willing to guard the best player on the other team, she is a prospect that attacks the boards hard on each end, and she is interchangeable to several different positions on offense if need be. IC – Liberty is an interesting program, that has had an interesting start to their year. If they continue to get better and prospects like Meyer do their thing, they should win a few more contests this Winter, before everything is said and done.

is going to be a “glue guy” this Winter with the Lightning. Meyer was one of the first off the bench in the first quarter, to come in for whoever was in foul trouble. From there, Meyer was tasked with mixing up what she was doing on the floor. Sometimes it was her guarding intensely for 5-10 seconds, sometimes it was switching and coming over from help-side for some defense. Whatever the team needs, Meyer is willing to do, all while keeping a positive attitude when things might not go her way. Every team needs “glue” players to help them win. These players keep the team together ultimately in the biggest moments and I think Meyer falls into that conversation right now.
