Madison gave Team Eight an edge with her toughness and effort in the paint. She made her presence felt as a rebounder. One of Madison’s highlight plays happened when she sprinted up the court during a fast break, made a good adjustment on the move to catch the pass in the high post, turned, drove hard to the basket, and went up strong off two feet to convert the difficult shot at the rim against length. She’s going to be a very productive player at the high school level, and her potential was evident with Team Eight at the PGH Illinois Freshman Showcase.

She may come in as a post player, but I believe this youngster can do it all on the court in any position she’s put in. There isn’t a time where she’s standing in one spot, she keeps the floor wide and makes wise decisions with the ball. Gives me shooting guard and post player vibes which is impressive. She can put the ball through the hoop and get to the free-throw line, it’s almost automatic when she shoots the ball.
