When looking at Washington’s athletic resume, one will see basketball and one will also see track and field given she has also participated in track and field at the shot put and the discus throw. She can bring down a great deal of rebounds and a number of rebounding battles will go her way. In addition to the paint presence she provides, Washington is unafraid of physicality. She presents a tough matchup for anyone in the interior who is a four or a five. She participated in 18 games last season and averaged 9.6 points and 9.7 rebounds a game for the Bobcats.

With Washington returning for her junior campaign, the Bobcats have all of the tools necessary to embark on a deeper 4A playoff run than last season when its SCHSL championship dreams came to an abrupt halt at the hands of Darlington in the first round. Washington manages to combine paint presence with physicality. She is a tough matchup in the interior for any opposing five or four. She brings down a great deal of rebounds and lots of rebounding battles go the way of Washington. She has also competed in track and field events – including the shot put and the discus throw.
