McGrew is one of the top scorers in the area, all classes included, and watching her continue to elevate her game on both ends has been a treat- no tricks from my Halloween article. Her smoothness in setting the defender up, as well as her poise under pressure, is very good; see evaluations here

McGrew understands how to put the ball in the basket in a variety of ways, and she is a “long and athletic” guard, with a nice first step to attack and finish, but her “catch and shoot” as well as midrange jumper has gotten better see evaluations here

McGrew is about to make a big jump because every time I see her, she’s adding something see evaluations here; she’s becoming more explosive with the ball in her hand. Watching her set the defender up smoothly, then explode off the dribble is a problem for defenders and will get worse, yet her “stop and pop” jumper from midrange is a GAMECHANGER

McGrew has consistently shown me that she’s going to be a problem for defenders, well she’s a problem now because not only is she a “long and athletic” guard, she takes good shots and knows how to set the defender up. Her growth shows each time I see her, see evaluations here

McGrew gave me a glimpse a couple of times over the club season, as well as briefly at the Texas Invitational, and watching her slice by defenders to score, nice body control on her finishes after contact, told me a lot. She also showed she could drop the mid to long-range, she has close to 40 from deep, as well as the “stop and pop” and “catch and shoot”. Solid defender who also plays the passing lane and has good court vision

McGrew is also a “long and athletic” guard who does a good job of setting the defender up to score off the dribble. She also creates her shot and creates spacing to drop the jumper, step back included.
