I don’t remember seeing a point guard lined up for the opening tip, but that’s exactly what Madleen did to start the game, and she won it for the Rams. Madleen’s perimeter pressure, three-point shooting, dribble penetration, tough finishing off hard drives to the basket, and expert facilitating gave Flat Rock a huge advantage in the backcourt. She penetrated the defense, forced the help to commit to her dribble, and dropped off passes to open teammates around the basket. Madleen froze her defender with a shot-fake, drove by, avoided the help using a euro-step, and converted the tough finish. She protected the ball with her shoulder to score a tough, contested layup with her left hand in transition. Madleen led the team in scoring with 27 points (3 3PT), secured five rebounds, dished out five assists, and had three steals in the win.

Madleen’s recruiting took off over the spring during a very productive travel season for Michigan Prospects . She’s a pure scorer who can light it up from the perimeter, create space to drive, and attack with a burst to the rim. She finishes through contact and is a relentless two-way difference maker. Madleen is a gamer who excels in these environments, and we’d be excited to have her at The Expo.

Madleen picked up offers from Scholcraft and Lansing Community College last weekend–she’s a scrappy/tough guard who energizes the team with her effort. Madleen can lead the team in scoring, assists, and steals on any given day. She impressed Danyle mightily as a distributor, creator, and defender at Jamfest. I anticipate another solid day for Madleen coming at the Cagers Invitational and she’s a prospect for colleges to see with Michigan Prospects 17U Mason.

Madleen had a breakout performance on Day 2 of the LBI Jamfest, showcasing why she’s a point guard to watch. She played with nonstop energy and poise, using her slick crossover to blow past defenders and create offense for both herself and her teammates. A strong decision-maker, Madleen consistently made the right reads, especially in transition where her passing really stood out. On the defensive end, she was a force—collecting several steals with quick hands and sharp instincts. Her all-around impact and high motor made her one of the most exciting players on the floor.

is a talented two-way prospect for the Flat Rock Rams. She works hard on both ends, causing multiple turnovers throughout the game by getting her hands in passing lanes. Madleen finished around the basket by reading defenders and using effective footwork. She drained a wing 3 and hit multiple jumpers as she created space with various dribble moves and jabs. Madleen put up 12 points, 4 boards, 3 assists, and 3 steals in a complete effort at the Airport showcase Thursday.

from Flat Rock played phenomenal basketball Sunday at the Legacy Center. She controlled the boards for her team and showed her aggressive quickness on the ball defensively. Madleen played up in the first row of the 2-2-1 press and has quickness to cut off ball handlers. She shoots a balanced pull up jumper and demonstrates a deadly 3 point range, hitting a deep shot from the wing and a volleyball 3 at the buzzer. She drives downhill and keeps her eyes up to see the floor and makes skip passes. Madleen is a floor general who can dish the rock with both hands and do everything for her team. She will be an exceptional asset for Flat Rock this winter.
