About Mady

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Point guard. Slasher, quick tempo, outside threat that is shifty that can get to the net. Lock down D player

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My personality is driven, fun, disciplined, and passionate. I strive to have a Mamba mentality and keep a good attitude towards everything.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I play for Or3gon Tripl3, a traveling club that traveled to California, Washington, Las Vegas, Chicago, etc. I made honor roll and maintained good grades.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed leadership, teamwork and commitment. Playing basketball has taught me about myself and life lessons that I will carry forever. I have learned teamwork and leadership because of my position as a point guard. I have learned commitment because of the teams I have played on and committing my self to give 100% everyday.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have gotten cut 1 time in my entire life and instead of giving up I can back harder and made the dream the next year because of my hard work and discipline.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking to play at the highest level. D1 or D2, but my goal is to play D1. I am looking for a college with good education and a place that aligns with my goals in basketball and life.

Five-foot-4 freshman point guard Mady Nanna Mady Nanna Mady Nanna 5'4" | PG/SG Canby Highschool | 2029 OR was a bouncy and vibrant playmaker at the 3×3 Hoop League on Day 2. Nanna shot the lights out in her first game, netting four from behind the arc in under 15 minutes. She handled on-ball pressure with poise and took care of the rock. She was patient in the pick-and-roll action and delivered the timely bounce pass. She changed speed to burst downhill to her strong side. She made the right read whether to take it to the rim or pass out. She played solid perimeter defense and snagged long rebounds. Nanna is excited to play at Canby in her first year.
