but she is a competitor that receives a lot of respect within her game. She is the type that isn’t going blow by you with superior athletic ability, she isn’t going to cross you over and make you fall down, but she will use her body angles to get an edge while attacking you weak side and she will finish at the hoop once she gets that physical edge on you. If the defense is going to sag off of her, she can make shots. She lets the opponent decide what she is going to do and from there, she goes to work, usually with ample success. Prevail will lace up with Sanford Sport Academy out of SD. A well known program that is sure to get her seen on the road over the next few months.

gets going on defense, I suggest you protect your dribble! Prevail’s quick hands and feisty help defense were on display throughout Sunday’s showcase. While some players might let their effort lapse on defense after a score, Prevail followed up her own scores with a steal on multiple occasions. She also displayed good decision-making after those steals by attacking the rim or making the extra pass at the right time. I really enjoyed watching her hustle on both ends of the floor and seeing it pay off for her squad.

is a ball player who is an impressive shooter. She can do more than just shoot the ball, this athlete can also defend and rebound. Madyson is an all around player with a high upside because of how coachable she is and how hard she works. I’ve watched her at 3 different showcase events and she flat out went to work. She knows how to run lanes in transition and has a good rhythm in her game. I’ve watched this player make mistakes in games and doesn’t allow them to bring her down. She is a next play player who builds off of good possessions who’s confidence doesn’t drop. I can’t wait to see her progress over the next couple of months into the high school season.

is a natural leader on and off the court. I was able to coach one of her games and she asked great questions and is a very coachable player. Madyson made adjustments right on the spot and didn’t make the same mistake twice. She’s the type of player her teammates would try and find in transition. She can shoot with a quick release and play off the catch off the dribble. Prevails shooting was on display as it seemed once she made one shot, the basket was getting bigger for her. Furthermore, she can fill the stat sheet behind the arc if you allow her to continue to shoot the ball. Moving without the ball is a struggle for a lot of players, Madyson understands the game off the ball as well.
