Tyrone is truly an elite scorer, especially after averaging 23 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, and 4 steals per game this past year. Her scoring was on display in a January conference game where she poured 41 points onto her poor opponent.

Tyrone can launch it from beyond the arc and she appears to be unstoppable when she has a lane to the basket. However, her defense cannot be overlooked. The guard was having her way on that end of floor this year, especially against Rector, where she came away with 8 steals. She plays with active hands and has no fear when diving after loose balls.

Maggie Tyrone Maggie Tyrone 5'10" | SG Norfork | 2027 State AR does not hesitate when she has a good look from outside. She is problematic for the opposition, and that will serve her and the Lady Panthers well as they are set to face Calico Rock on the 17th.

Tyrone recently had a great game against Izard County. She had 22 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals along with 3 made 3-pointers. Defenses have to go out and contest her along the perimeter, as Tyrone has no problem dialing it up from way downtown. When she has an in-rhythm shot off the catch, she will knock it down regardless of the defensive pressure.

With her length, Tyrone is a solid rebounder and defender. She deflects multiple passes a night, often coming away with steals and triggering the fastbreak.

Tyrone can score inside and out. From the outside, Tyrone is a fantastic 3-point shooter who will light it up in a second. She has no problem shooting from well beyond the arch, and her teammates know just when to hit her for the assist. She has a quick release and uses a high arch on her shot. As far as scoring inside, most of it comes from her work in transition.

Tyrone is a great defender, and she is often intercepting passes, which will then trigger the fastbreak. Whether off a steal or deflection, Tyrone will run out ahead and score the easy transition layup. She can finish with either hand and does not mind a little bit of contact when she goes up.

Again, Maggie Tyrone Maggie Tyrone 5'10" | SG Norfork | 2027 State AR will not be #46 after the next rankings update. Regardless of her placement, there are plenty of reasons as to why she deserves a spot on the 2027 ranking.
