Makaila wrestled the ball away for a steal and kept her hands active to cause deflections. She drove hard to the basket, finished layups through contact, and added an offensive rebound put-back. Makaila was dialed in from beyond the arc, drilling multiple corner 3’s with a confident follow-through. Her hustle, effort, and performance energized the team.

Makaila was a key contributor in her team’s championship run at the Battle in the Mitten, making an impact in a variety of ways. She sparked her squad with a momentum-shifting charge and knocked down multiple shots from beyond the arc, including a smooth corner three. Through undersized, she battled fearlessly for offensive boards and came away with several steals, showing grit and relentless energy on both ends of the floor.
