Quicker than quick point guard that can facilitate and score the ball. She does a great job of creating and being a play maker for her team. Her midrange game is almost flawless with the ability to stop and pop up over defenders. She also has a nice tear drop floater that she mixes in and is able to finish through contact slashing to the rim. Makayla is all over the floor on the defensive end also coming up with winning plays.

Makayla has a motor that does not stop. She is not going to let anyone out work her on the court on either side of the ball. Defensively she is going to get down in her stance and work the opposing point guard the entire game. Her quick feet and hands are one of her biggest strengths. She has a very nice midrange pullup jumper as well. Capable of putting a lot of points on the scoreboard for her Dorman squad as she showcased at the Carolina Christmas Classic in Greensboro, NC.

Surely don’t let her size scare you with her play. Makayla plays the game with a fearless mindset. She really keeps the ball low to the deck and rarely turns it over.
Makayla will look to get the ball downhill to the basket and create for herself and others on the floor. She takes pride in playing defense and getting after it on both ends of the court.
