Makayla is a freakishly athletic forward prospect who put her high-flying, high-level talent on full display during the PGH MI College Tour at Northwood. Her physical strength, athleticism, quickness, bulldog aggressiveness, and powerful long strides put her on another level. She took defensive rebounds coast to coast for explosive transition layups, pushed the ball with pace using both hands to beat everyone to the rim, and finished off two. She intercepted passes from the help side, muscled her way into position for many offensive rebound putbacks, and sealed off defenders to score in the paint. Makayla caught a pass inside, used a power dribble, spun, and scored a contested layup with her left off two. She made smart kickout passes to open shooters when the defense collapsed and is an elite prospect playing for the KIA Nurse 15U EYBL squad.
