Over the weekend, I had the chance to check out some of the younger rising teams and players at the Michigan PGH College Tour. I had a very limited chance to watch a lot of teams, but I did watch some games throughout the day and here are some players I saw Saturday morning that caught my attention.

A shot blocker with great length. Protects the rim and is solid in the paint. She doesn't back down, I love the way she is an aggressive defender, swatting anything in sight and when I watched her, she did it with solid body contact. I really like her future, just needs to add some strength and some continued footwork.

Loves to make moves in the paint, has nice footwork, but will continue to get better with age. Not afraid of contact, will throw it up at the rim and get to the free-throw line. Could be a big summer with continued work as she continues to improve her game to make a bigger impact.

A great finisher at the rim, can catch and score in transition. Good hands and good body control, able to capitalize around the bucket. Nice athletic frame, defensively she's agile, quick, makes plays and can force mistakes.

Evaluations are normally subscriber-only but when an athlete subscribes, theirs becomes free for all readers.
Subscribing doesn't change who the Scout covers, it changes who gets to see it.
