Hartford had been a program that had seen its ups and downs the past few seasons but found their groove halfway through this season behind elite-level play from Makena Christian Makena Christian 6'0" | PF Hartford | 2025 State WI . The forward found a way to utilize her skill set around an extremely young team and was the focal point of one of the best team offenses we saw in the state last season. Nobody has the inside-out threat she boasts by shooting 40% from the three-point line and overpowering opposing post players under the basket. After the Orioles push for another trip to the state tournament and an outright North Shore title, Christian will head west and play for fellow Wisconsin Dawn Plitzuweit at the Univeristy of Minnesota.
