Raasch must have ice in her veins. Because every time Cyril needed something in the second half she provided. Drive and dish to set up a teammate. Got it. Steal and score to extend the lead? Made it look easy. Step back three to effectively ice take the game? Cold blooded. Finished with a team high 15 points. And has her squad one step close to the repeat.

The defending Class A State Champions started their season with three straight wins at the Minco Tournament. In the title game, Raasch scored 29 points in their 61-47 win. Impressive scoring performance form the senior, who is expected to help replace the production of graduated guards Hadley Gibson and Averi Carlson. Class A looks to be competitive this year, but clearly the Lady Pirates still have the hearts of champions.
