Maddie Stewart | Combo Guard | Banshees 2026/Lincoln | 2026
Maddie is one of those players that is going to play hard on both ends of the floor with the ability to play fast. But when she plays fast she plays under control. She has great control of the ball as she handles it against pressure, she can create for herself and finish at the rim. Shoot the ball from various spots on the floor including behind the three-point line. She’s a solid on-ball defender, but she really anticipates well when playing the passing lanes.
Kylin Cooper | Combo Guard | Banshees 2026/Booker T Washington | 2026
Kylin is a strong and physical point guard that likes to use her quickness and strength on defense. As a point guard, you want to be able to defend the opposing team’s point guard and keep them out of the lane from making plays. Kylin did a good job of containing the opposing team’s point guard and causing problems which led to fastbreak opportunities for her team. She’s also a good ball-handler that can play through contact. Kylin can get into the teeth of the defense and draw additional defenders before kicking it out to an open teammate for the open shot.
Mia Adams | Wing | Tulsa Hawks 2025/Tulsa Union | 2025
Mia is a high motor athlete that plays hard every possession from the opening tip to the final buzzer. Her athleticism allows her to really get after it on defense and cause problems for whoever she is guarding. She also has the ability to handle the ball and get into the lane to make plays for her teammates in the half-court or in transition.
Reighan Carey | Combo Guard | Krush Queens 2026/Millwood | 2027
Reighan played up this weekend and competed very well. She showed she can compete against good competition and that she won’t back down from anyone. She has a nice skillset that will continue to improve as she gets ready for high school. She will be an 8th grader during the 2022-2023 season and with her ability to push the ball in transition, finish plays vs contact, knock down the three-pointer, and pressure the ball on defense, she will be a problem for opposing teams for years to come.
Makenzie Raasch | Combo Guard | Oklahoma Aces 2026 Carrington | 2026
Makenzie was a high-energy guard that played with a lot of energy and effort. Defensively she was a solid on-ball defender that could also play the passing lanes well and anticipate passes from the offense to get deflections and steals. She’s a combo guard that can play off the ball or run the team at the point. Her handles are good enough to get by her defender and into the lane for the finish in the half-court or she can get out on the break and make plays.
Promise Wright | Combo Guard | Krush Queens 2026/Millwood | 2026
Promise spent a lot of time at the point guard position but she could also slide over to the wing and play off the ball. She exhibited quick feet and hands when on defense. The pressure she applied led to turnovers by the ball handler which allowed her team to get out in transition for easy buckets. Speaking of transition, this is where Promise excels. She really pushes the ball well and showed that she can finish at the rim with good footwork.
Jaciah McCallister | Combo Guard | DC Queens 2027/Del City | 2028
I was shocked to find out this young player was only in the 6th grade. During the game, she played with an unshakable level of confidence that you only find a few players. She handled her own very well throughout the weekend, but especially on opening night. First, let’s start with her defense. Jaciah has quick hands. If the ball is exposed you can bet she getting a hand on it. Her aggressive defensive nature was too much for some. Offensively she used her athleticism to get to the rim. She would weave through the defense in transition with good vision to find open an open teammate or finish the play herself.
