Gering High School fell just short earlier this week to Scottsbluff in an exciting contest. The leader for Gering, Makenzie Todd Makenzie Todd 5'10" | PG/SG Gering | 2025 NE , helped her team in this specific event with 10 points. Todd is someone that possesses that mixture of size and skill that all coaches love to see. She is 5’10, she has a guard skill set and she understands how to play the game the right way. This loss moved Gering to .500 with a 5-5 record so far. If they lock in and play some of their best ball of the season, they could easily end over .500 moving into the Post Season. They just need to make that end of the season push and Todd needs to keep doing what she has been. If that happens, who knows how they might end things this Winter.
