She has been such a steady player during her career at Reynoldsburg and can do so much with the ball in her hands. Anticipates the game and is aggressive on defense, long and athletic with the ability to score at the rim or knock down the three. She’s steady and a good leader.

Give the rock to this youngster when she gets in her groove of knocking down shots. She is so explosive attacking the rim. Excellent outside shot from beyond the arc, good ball handling, and significantly improved control when driving to the hoop. She crashes the glass and runs the floor very well. Her outside shot is deadly! Quick and strong hands, great body control when she scores through multiple of defenders. She moved up in the rankings from number 79 to number 72.

Malaya is one of the most versatile players in her class, she is a solid combo guard that can cause any miss-match for the opposing team with her being able to create off the dribble from the wing she can finish with either hand at the rim. With the caliber of a team she plays with during AAU season she should be able to carry that over into her sophomore year and just get even better.
