Maleah had a really nice 2025-2026 season for her North Daviess team, so I was very interested in watching her with her DistinXion team. She is a solid, somewhat strong-for-her-size, skilled, and efficient lead guard. She has some touch outside, and she can attack, but she picks her spots well and doesn’t seem to force the action. She initiates the offense, finds open teammates, plus she has a calming presence with the ball in her hands. She showed effort defensively, even some physicality at her size, and she pursued rebounds. She should be a really nice small college kid.

Maleah is a really nice combination of point guard and scorer. She has ball skill, the ability to initiate and run offense, but she’s also a solid athlete and can create for herself and teammates. Additionally, this past season she was able to find offense herself and present a real threat for opposing defenses to have to match up with. I have not had the opportunity to see her yet this Spring, but I look forward to seeing her throughout the Summer. Based on her statistical production this Winter, she appears to be a really nice small college prospect.

This rising player looks to get her teammates involved, one specific possession she drove baseline, and instead of forcing things, she quickly distributed for a much better shot. That leads me to believe that she has a good basketball IQ and can contribute in more ways and scoring points.
