As we continue editing our rankings for the quarterly Summer update, it's now time to turn to the Class of 2028. This class will continue to have a Top 75 list, so there is no expansion there, however, the watch list will grow from 75 to 85 prospects, for a grand total of 160 prospects listed. With that said, and taking account for updates, there will be 11 new additions to the list in total. Below is a look at four guards and an interior player who will be added once those rankings are released.

Carly had a really nice end to the high school season, helping her Roncalli team throughout their State Finals run. She continued that strong play into the Spring grassroots season, and she has put together some really nice performances playing "up" an age group. She is poised with the ball, a nice all-around athlete, she can initiate the offense and facilitate, plus she can make shots at all levels. With the Royals graduating a couple of key 2026s who both played some point, look for Carly to step into big minutes as a Junior this coming year.

With Division-I talent Addison Baxter graduating in 2025, along with some other key pieces, there were a lot of questions as to who would step up for the Lady Eagles. Well, Isabella came in and performed admirably. She is lesser-known on the statewide level, but her Winter opponents certainly know who she is now. She is a solid athlete, she has nice length and some strength, plus she is skillful. She can play on the ball and run point, or she can play off the ball and knock down shots consistently from all three levels. Look for her recruiting to make a jump soon, too.

Lorelei is another 2028 prospect who is still a bit under the radar. She is a talented scoring threat who can get to the basket using her speed, quickness, and athleticism, but she has also started knocking down shots more consistently from the perimeter. As that continues to develop, watch out! She has an athletic frame, some bounce to her as well, and she plays hard. She averaged 18.1 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 2.5 steals per game this past Winter, and I would expect her to continue being a headache for appointments the next couple of seasons.

Maleah is a really nice combination of point guard and scorer. She has ball skill, the ability to initiate and run offense, but she's also a solid athlete and can create for herself and teammates. Additionally, this past season she was able to find offense herself and present a real threat for opposing defenses to have to match up with. I have not had the opportunity to see her yet this Spring, but I look forward to seeing her throughout the Summer. Based on her statistical production this Winter, she appears to be a really nice small college prospect.

Skylee made quite an impression on several coaches throughout the Spring. She is extremely long, bouncy, and very active. Defensively is where she creates the most problems right now, because while she's about 6-feet tall, she plays about 6-feet-4-inches because of her length. She alters/blocks shots, and she's able to rebound above other players. Offensively, she is still figuring out whether she's most comfortable in the mid-post or around the block, but she has the mobility to play away from the hoop. As she gets stronger, she could be a real problem.
