About Malia

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am gritty player, active on both ends of the floor. I am known to get down hill, slash, attack, and have received recognition for my defensive abilities. I am athletic with quick feet, an aggressive box out, and a reliable rebounder.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a competitor by heart. I am fierce, passionate, and bring the intensity. I take pride in getting my team going, rising to the occasion, and keeping moral high.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

No

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am a leader by nature. I am vocal, knowledgeable, and a strategic basketball mind. I am an active team member and contribute in any way I can. I like to help in the planning and organizing of events, social outings, and any other team stuff that is going on.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I lost my grandpa in 2023. We were extremely close. He taught me nothing comes easy, hard work pays off, and to keep your head down and grind. I carry that with me.

What type of college are you looking for?

A college that recognizes my strengths and what I have to offer as a contribution to their team.
