There are a few players out there that talk the talk and walk the walk at the high school level and I think that

is one of those players. From everything that I have seen up until this point, Leerar is an offensive WEAPON in the half court and she never backs down from a challenge. Over her high school career, I’m confident in saying that Leerar has become better and better, as she has gotten older. Her hard work in the off-seasons seem to always pay off and I’m not expect that to change moving forward. Following this season, Leerar will be joining Ackerman at the next level to compete for the Brair Cliff Chargers. I think that these two are going to mesh together really well and fit into the system that is being played there. This is another player that is very good at adapting to situations so if she starts out slow, I wouldn’t imagine that is going to last long. She is too productive in every which way at the level she is competing at right now, not to be with the Chargers at some point in the future.

There hasn’t been an article released lately with the most recent offers/commitments out of Iowa so I thought I should feature one right now. As of a few weeks ago,

committed to Brair Cliff University in Sioux City, Iowa. Leerar is a lengthy and agile forward. An athlete right now that can play a plethora of positions on the floor while being a producer on both sides of the ball. I always suggest that athletes commit prior to their senior year, if possible. There are pro’s and con’s to both sides of this topic but I think having the player know where they are going to attend, helps them relax and enjoy their senior year of high school much more. As for Leerar, I expect her to lead her West Hancock high school team once again this winter to a successful overall season. Something that is more then possible, given this teams current roster.

had a good showing this summer for All Iowa Attack, posing problems as a lengthy shooter when she is on the floor. Averaging 14 PPG on 41.7% shooting and 3.1 APG, Leerar likes to play inside to out on the offensive end, usually looking to shoot deep until the defense starts to jump and then she will attack the hoop for an easy lay up. Mallory shot 32.5% from three and recorded 95 steals in the 21′-22′ season to make her team 18-6 overall, 12-4 in conference. To expand her game she will have to learn her physicality and size advantage more often when she has the opportunity, this will create a bigger dilemma for defenses on how to guard her in their game plan as time goes on. It will be fun to see what she can do with this West Hancock Eagles team this 22′-23′ season and into the playoffs.
