She has been fun to cover because you were able to see the maturation process. Each year, her game got better, and it just took off from there. Her decision making and her ability to get to favorable spots to shoot or dish were pretty impressive. She, too, was someone who loved a good challenge. She didn’t back down and competed the entire game with effort and energy. She leaves a CHS program in good hands and will forever be one of the top kids to come from a solid Lady Wildcats program.

Heady basketball player who just rises up in big-time moments. I am so impressed with her body of work, as she is one of the most consistent players in the state. She competes from tip to the final whistle and leaves it all out on the floor. Last night, she finished with 22, and her temperament and the way she just battled was phenomenal. A solid 3-level scoring threat who is a tough floor general.

Shifty guard who plays with a chip on her shoulder. Malon has had an outstanding year where she has won district honors and then some. This has been her breakthrough season as she has been called upon to be the leader. She can score from all three levels and has a quick first step that she utilizes to get past defenders to either finish at the rim or kick out for a 3. She also is a stout defender who creates havoc.

One of the hottest kids girls in the Queen City. This kid is a go-getter and she gets after it on each possession. She’s a bucket, getting to the rim with ease or pulling it from afar with confidence. Anytime you look at their box scores, she has solid numbers all across the board. This kid is on a mission and what better way to go out your senior year with a bang.

Nasty two-way player who can score it from all three levels, but her ability to facilitate the ball is pretty incredible. A heady floor general who can handle the rock, slice through gaps, and put the ball in the bottom of the net. She can defend like crazy, creating havoc that leads to turnovers. For all those hoop heads out there, remember Matean Cleaves from Michigan State back in the day? Her game is very similar to his. She’s a heady ball player who comes alive when the lights are on.

Saucy guard who can score and facilitate with the best of them. Malon is a hard nosed defender who gets after it on the defensive end. Had a couple of solid stops that led to easy buckets going the other way. Offensively, she can knock it down from 3 or slice through the defense on her way to the rim. Heady ball player with great handles. Solid kid who continues to get better every time she touches the floor.
