About Marcia

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

5’9 Combo Guard that has handles and much IQ for the game. I can get to the goal with ease, shoot the ball, and I have very good defense! I will hustle after a loose ball and get physical/aggressive.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a kind, nice, and loving person. I always cheer people up whenever they are down and I always love to make new friends. My mentality is to always be the best at anything I do and to always get the full understanding of what it is that I am doing.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have received many “Kind Heart” awards and “Someone who can make you smile” awards. I am a player for Cyfair 14 Jr.Eybl located in Houston Tx.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Whenever I am on the court I try my best to be a leader and tell my teammates what they could’ve done better with in that exact possession. Off the court I love playing 2k and watching any basketball or sports related videos!

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I faced the mental toughness challenge while being on the court. To over come this challenge, I prayed, worked harder in the gym, and took constructive criticism from my parents and my trainers.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for any Division 1 college that gives me a full ride, has a great academic program, and a great history of players that have went to the professional level. (LSU, Texas, South Carolina, Tennessee,North Carolina, Virginia, TCU, Iowa, etc)

Marcia attacked the rim fearlessly, drew fouls, and calmly knocked down clutch shots when her team needed them most. Her ability to take over in critical moments showed maturity far beyond her years and made her a key factor in the win.
