She does it all: scoring, making assists, getting steals, and rebounds. It’s how she does it that seems to amaze people. She just competes and will do whatever it takes to give her team an edge. Lyde is a player who wants the ball in her hands on every possession. She knows how to score at any given moment. Has one of the purest mid-range shots but also bangs inside for the rebound. She can score inside out and uses her length to her advantage. When the ball is in her hands, she is one of the best players on the floor.

This season, through 28 recorded games, she leads her team in PPG, averaging 18.8. She almost gets all her buckets from inside the arc. Lyde is elite at scoring through contact in the paint and is also an elite second-chance scorer. There is a skill in rebounding, and Lyde possesses two traits needed to be a high-level rebounder–hustle and elite basketball IQ.

Lyde, along with several 20+ point outings, has also had a ton of games with four or more offensive boards. In one game this season, she grabbed nine against Science Hill High School.

She had a big scoring night not too long ago, showcasing her interior scoring prowess throughout the contest against Sullivan East High School. In the game, Lyde scored 22 points.

Lyde, on the defensive side of things, has been a staple in Greeneville’s defense overall. She has great lateral movement and overall strength as a player. The combo of these two traits makes her both a great perimeter and interior defender. She displayed her interior defensive skills against Sevier County in a game this year, where she had three blocks.

A motor-up kid who just competes from tip to the final whistle. Makes all the hustle plays; she is going to lay it all out on the line every possession. She can score in a multitude of ways, but scoring around the painted area is what she does best. No matter the assignment, she is going to do it to the best of her ability. From knocking down shots to creating mismatches down low, she is going to go hard and do all that she can to win that possession. Love her heart, her infectious attitude; she is a difference-maker every time she steps onto the floor.

Lyde showed out as a sophomore, helping the Lady Devils to a district championship and a regional semi-final. A couple of her main traits that stood out about her were her interior defense and her interior scoring.

She has plus speed for her size and has lightning-fast rotations. This helps her be one of the best help defenders every time she sets foot on the court. With this, she jumps passing lanes effectively, and usually finds herself with a couple of blocks in each game she plays.

Lyde also has great foot work that helps her capitalize on fast break buckets, and scoring scenarios in general in and around the paint.

She jumped on the scene last year; this year, she is coming back for more. A motor up get who is always in “go mode.” She is a selfless ballplayer who is willing to do all things. What I love about her, she is not just about scoring, but also makes the extra effort plays, such as taking charges, diving for loose balls, and really selling herself out for her team. She can knock it down from 3, but getting to the rim and hitting her opponent with a counter move looks so nice. Look for her to have a great year and continue on the upward trajectory.

Talk about a kid who is in “Go mode,” she’s that way all the time. She plays with such a motor and doesn’t give up or give in at any point. She can score from beyond, put it on the floor, and get to the rim, stop and pop, the ball is going to go in one way or another. I love her ability to defend and rebound, which plays a key part in her team’s success. Another attribute I love about her is that she is fearless. She will go toe- to – toe with someone bigger than her and just battle. This kid is a prospect on the rise and someone who is going to be an important piece to her school’s program this upcoming season.

You have seen her name before, but this young lady is one of the hottest prospects who keeps climbing the charts. One of the most aggressive kids on the floor, she’s a full go, especially when she is attacking the rim. She plays with such energy and effort, it seems like she is always in the mix no matter what end of the floor she is on, she is always making plays. Has great court awareness, competes from tip-off to the final whistle. She gives it her all and then some as she propels her ballclub towards obtaining a dub. This weekend she displayed no fear as she got after it on the floor. Coaches are flipping pages in their books towards her information. Keep tabs on this young lady because she is putting together an impressive body of work.

This kid just plays with such energy on both ends of the floor. She can handle the ball, get to the rim, knock it down from 3, and exploit the mid-range. When her team needed a bucket, the ball was going into her hands. She just battled and competed, leaving everything on the floor. This kid is special and competes from tip to finish.
