The Cottage Grove junior (2026) can bring the ball up against pressure, she’s a good passer, and she works to get open. Bailey is a focused defender with good on-ball pressure and off-ball position to deny the pass.

Mariah Bailey of Oregon Elite is someone that recruits should already know going into this weekend out of Oregon. Bailey is a strong Combo Guard, that excels in the categories to rebounding, scoring near the basket, and dominating her individual matchup. She seems to always be in the right place at the right time with her positioning near the hoop and that helps her grab a lot of those boards on either side of the basket. Her Oregon Elite team has a mix of a little bit of everything. They have height down low, shifty and controlling PG’s, and some formidable prospects at the 2/3 spots, including Bailey it’ll be interesting to see how they hold up over their four days but I’m excited to watch.

Bailey is a high IQ player who will only continue to get better over the course of her career, and coaches should keep an eye out for her.
