A versatile combo guard who can knock down the three but is at her best attacking the gaps and getting to the rim. She has a smooth pull-up jumper off the dribble and does a great job creating her own shot off the bounce or coming off a screen.
She shows great instincts around the basket, using her quick hops and timing to track the ball off the rim and convert put-back opportunities.
With a strong, physical frame, she can defend on the perimeter and also gives you the flexibility to guard in the post when needed.
Earned Second Team All-District honors and was a key component in helping the Lady Irish make a State Tournament run.

Conally is one of the best off the dribble attacks in Oklahoma’s junior class. Looks stronger and more fluid on her finishes at the rim, while also having the handles, footwork (spin) to get to the basket in the halfcourt or transition. Good touch on her extended floaters to score over defenders. Really liked one drive where she went into a double team, but had the presence of mind to slow down and find an open teammate for three. Has made a jump during her junior season, and is establishing herself as one of the top players in Oklahoma.

Conally is moving different for 5A sleeper Lady Irish. She’s a quick and dynamic ball handler. Was carving up the opposition at the YFAC Previews. Quick and slippery when getting downhill, she can blow by the first defender. Then has the footwork and feel to navigate through traffic to be a strong finisher at the rim. Even was snatching ankles along the perimeter. Making the jump from a good player to a great player is a tough task. Based on Saturday, Conally has put the work in and is knocking on the door of being a great player.

. Aggressive downhill driver that does not mind a little contact on the way to the rim for the old fashion 3-point play. A mid-range game like a small forward but has the skill set of a big 2 guard. Good decision on the drives that led to many easy buckets for herself and teammates. Strong understanding of rotation on the press leading to a steal and points off turnovers. Player that is capable to give you 20 point and 10 boards a night as she moves great without the ball and hustles in between the lines.

Conally is a skilled all around scorer. Smooth movements for her size allow her to be an effective slasher who avoids contact on drives. Good mover off the ball, especially with an understanding of how to attack spots against zone defenses. Capable shooter from distance as well. Has had a very productive sophomore year, for an Irish team that plays a rugged schedule for a 4A team.

Very athletic combo guard that played almost every position on the floor for her Irish team. Showed ball handling skills at the point when needed. An aggressive downhill driver that got to the rim constantly throughout the weekend. A 2027 to keep and eye on this season.
A strong physical defender that is strong enough to defend the post but also quick enough to defend 20ft out.,

After a productive freshman campaign, Conally’s highlight tape hints at three level scoring capabilities. Along with getting to the rim on drives, she showed good ability to either hit floaters or stop quickly for mid-range jumpers. She also looked very comfortable as a spot up threat from beyond the arc. It looks like a great start to a high school career, where the Bishop McGuinness standout could mature into one of the most complete scorers in Oklahoma.

Mariah is a combo guard that has a complete game. Nice shot from behind the 3 point knocking down several. A strong dribbler that can attack the rim with either hand and finish making her a tough match up for small opponent, Physical ball handler in transition that finished through the contact for And 1 baskets. At her height and quickness she defended 2-4 spots on the court. Grabbed several rebounds needing no outlet as she showed great handles and vision in the open court.

With things like the Super-16 Game, grassroots ball, and our PGH Showcases, it can feel like somebody like Mariah has been around for a long time by the time they finally step foot on the floor as a freshman. It means we scouts are very familiar with how great she is. It also means that she, despite her young age, has played a lot of basketball and comes into the Bishop McGuinness line-up battle-tested and ready to go. As Coach Carter says, Mariah is “relentless at attacking the basket.” She is also a vicious defender as I mentioned in an earlier piece. I really am glad to not have to try to bring the ball up court against her. Not only that, but she will guard any position… and more than likely lock them down.
