Mariah contributed to Team 5 in a variety of ways at the PGH Michigan Freshman Showcase. She showed confidence as a downhill slasher, driving hard to the basket to earn a trip to the free throw line. Mariah stretches the floor with her outside shot and fired a smooth catch-and-shoot wing three that hit nothing but net. She’s an effective facilitator and threw a nice entry pass inside to a teammate for the assist. Mariah makes the hustle plays, rebounds, and will be a productive member of the Decatur program over the years.

Mariah had a strong showing for Team Wings, making her presence felt with her hustle and effort on both ends of the floor. She battled hard on the boards, pulling in key rebounds and keeping plays alive for her team. Offensively, she showed her shooting touch by knocking down a shot from beyond the arc and made a great extra pass in transition to set up a teammate. Her unselfish play and work ethic stood out, showing she’s the kind of player who does the little things that help her team succeed.
