The stretch big led her team to a sizeable victory over Brimmer & May. Her 20 pts, along with 15 reb was overwhelming in this matchup. Solovian was a major part in MSC’s gameplan. If Masha can keep up this level of production on both sides of the ball and help shut out talented teams as such, this team is going to find themselves having considerable success.

Masha can really stretch the floor at her size. For defenders not accustomed to her, they’ll be in for a huge surprise as she doesn’t hesitate to let shots fore from deep. She keeps a ton of possessions alive on the offensive glass too. It’s Solovian’s defense though that’ll be something to look forward to in a tough matchup vs. St. Luke’s. She’ll be relied upon to bring that fierce weakside help as they attempt to slow down and funnel some prominent perimeter scorers in her direction.

Playing in FIBA U18 play right now, Solovian is a player with tremendous x-factor ability. She lends a hand in many ways and can be a matchup nightmare when added into the equation. The versatile play from a big of her caliber is quite the complement to other dynamic players on the court. Masha’s inside-out game at 6’4 is what makes her so intriguing.

A 2-way complementary frontcourt player that has x-factor tendencies. Solovian can really tip the scales in matchups and she certainly has an influence on winning games. Masha is intriguing on offense; she has no problems stretching the floor, extending bigs out the paint while still maintaining a feathery touch when she’s around the rim. The 6’4 big brings tremendous value on defense though. Her length alone deters an abundance of shots taken. At the next level she can be a real gem with proper fostering and investing.

While other ’26 players were outside the region, Masha was dominating the local scene by taking home POTG honors at the Rumble for the Ring. Her impressive 2-way play came in handy today. The sheer length Solovian possesses makes her someone to focus on. She was affecting shots at the rim and all over the glass, especially on the weakside. On offense she was a big target that also showed she has some range shooting the ball. Masha was outright imposing in today’s game.

The tall frame of Masha is striking at first glance, but there’s so much more than just size here. The 6’4 versatile big can play inside and out, so she’ll be able to play with just about any skillset another big has. She doesn’t command the ball much in the offense; Solovian just lets the game come to her. Even though she’s patient on offense, she doesn’t hesitate to shoot when open and will put back up shots from rebounds secured. Defense is where Masha really packs a punch. She moves well at the size and is active all around the paint too. As the ’26 big rounds out her game she’ll be one dominant force. This Spring Masha will have a chance to get more games underneath her belt and that should assist in the development. This is a raw talent worth taking a look at.

Masha could very well be the determinant in postseason play. The length and versatility might pose a problem for Rocky Hill. She has range plus she’s a major deterrence down low on the defensive end. The sheer size alone can be intimidating, but she’s an adept protector that provides solid help-side assistance. On offense anticipate Solovian to be a player that gets quality looks in all the right spots.

Masha was a big surprise from the game. The 6’4 junior was incredibly impactful. Solovian finished a good look from teammates and knocked down an astounding long-range 3-pointer. On defense, she had multiple amazing blocks on MacDuffie players. Solovian is a scary prospect with a ton of potential.
