This is the second consecutive ranking update that has seen Marissa making an improvement! At 6’2, she can be a factor on both ends of the floor. Just needs to become more consistent and more productive for her team. The potential is definitely there, now she has to take it to the next level!

Marissa has risen in the last couple of PGH ranking updates, and for good reason. The 6’2 forward is a player who does not back down on the court, deals with the competition in front of her and just makes plays. She gets overlooked often by many in this position, but the people who know the game understand how talented she can be. Good footwork, moves well and is able to finish at the rim.

One of the best all-around players in this class is Marissa. At 6–2, she does a lot of stuff well from any of the positions. Very multidimensional, outstanding defender, long and athletic. She is very fundamental, and can beat you inside or out. Good finisher at the rim with good hands and a strong move. She moves up to #42!

This young lady I believe is just scratching the surface of how good she could be. At 6-2 she’s got a great tall athletic frame, which allows her to play a physical style if needed, but also has some finesse to her game. Great rebounder, can hold the block and protect the paint. Really a kid who I think will open some eyes even more this year as she is currently sits number 71.
