A versatile combo player that scored in 3 ways this weekend. First a good outside shooter with range that knocked down several in a row. Second, downhill driver that can slide through the defense avoiding the charge on the way to the rim. Draw a bunch of fouls this weekend. Third, score with a tough post move off the block. Tough defender that because of physical presence defender the opposing team post. Good player that has been a consistent performer in the program.

A great size for a combo forward. I have seen this young lady play on the outside so they put a smaller defender on her and she goes to work in t the paint. A very physical player that will get in the mix if it means a bucket or stealing a possession. A player that excelled the bigger the game is. Scored over 20 multiple times against ranked teams this past school season. Marissa is that player you will find in the gym not matter what time of the day it is. She just wants to get better every time she touches the court. A player that should catch some attention this circuit season with size and effectiveness in the mid-range

A combo guard that is physical and brings it on every possession., Nice mid range game facing the basket to go along with a strong post game makes her the perfect Combo Forward. Good enough handles to rebound the ball and by pass the outlet and get the break started. A very aggressive player that is a potential double double every game.
First Team Western All Conference that averaged 14 ppg and 6 rpg. The consistent play of Marissa helped the Lady Tigers to a 21-8 record and a deep playoff run. A 2026 to watch this summer as she has the skill set to play somewhere at the next level.

Junior utility player, who is having a strong season. Good fundamentals on defense when it comes to playing big to contest shots without fouling. Hands up in passing lanes and boxing out. In these clips, was locked in from distance to start the games by living the corners and quickly draining catch and shoot threes. Impressive guard/wing, who seems to impact the game in whatever ways her team requires.

Marissa is a very versatile combo guard that can post you up inside and stretch you outside with the 3 point shot. A strong physical player that handled the opposing teams post players inside on defense. She always seemed to be around the basket for rebounds on both ends of the court. I would expect many double double games from her this upcoming season.
Nice size at 5’9 and her versatility Marissa a 2026 should draw some attention from coaches this season

Sandlin is a combo guard that has a great understanding of the game. On offense she can handle the ball in the open court with vision looking up the court. A shooter around the perimeter but showed a very nice mid range games as well. Showed a great understanding on press defense playing the second line of the zone press. Rotated in position causing several turnovers

The first thing you notice when watching this Swarm team play is their toughness and tenacity, and Marissa is pretty much leading the charge as far as that goes. She fits a lot of strength and “controlled aggression” into her 5’9″ frame and is unafraid to get to the rim and score. She is an “and-1” machine. The main note beside her name in my notebook was “INVOLVED IN EVERYTHING.” She is everywhere, on defense, on offense. Sandlin is just one of those players that is a nuisance in the worst way for the other team and the best kind of way if you are her coach, teammate, or future college coach.
