has the handles to put defenders off balance and the ability to stop on a dime, making way for one of the smoothest pull-up jumpers you’ll see. Markeli combines great size and athleticism with a high basketball IQ, excelling at the point guard position. She handles pressure like a veteran, staying composed, keeping the defense from speeding her up, and ensuring her team is always in the right position to score. Last season, Markeli averaged 15.8 PPG, 8.0 RPG, 5.1 APG, and 2.5 SPG, finishing with six double-doubles, showcasing her versatility. She can run any system, score efficiently, and guard the opposing team’s best player or primary ball handler to create defensive chaos. This season, as her team reclassifies to 2A from 3A, she aims to cap off her illustrious career with a second state championship in four years.

will be one of the top 2025 guards in the building at the FABC Showcase. She is athletic, she is quick, she can score the ball from all three levels, and she is a disruptive defender on the ball. Two of her best strengths are her basketball IQ and her competitiveness. She is selfless and can get the ball to her teammates in position to score.

The 5-9 guard should be targeting a ton of college coaches radars this upcoming season as she gets the job done on both ends of the floor. Jones-Tynes plays with great length and has a very versatile role on the floor where she can often at times play multiple positions based on rotation. On the defensive end, she is a terrific rebounder and has a great IQ by jumping the next pass to get steals and deflections.

Jones-Tynes is a scrappy, athletic player. She hustles on every play, diving after loose balls, working hard for steals, and crashing the boards hard. She has a consistent one dribble pull up in the midrange but can also shoot the three. If she is not already on college coaches’ radars she most definitely should be.

The 5-9 guard does an exceptional job when it comes to handling both guard positions. Her ability to be a distributor and a playmaker took a huge step forward this past season where she led the team in points and assists. She uses her size and length to an advantage as she can shoot it at a high percentage. On the offensive end, Tynes plays with speed and can make crisp accurate passes with the best of them.
