About Marley

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My favorite player is Patrick Beverley! Nuff said. I'm a dog who plays hard, smart, tough basketball.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My sole intention for every game is to find a way to help my TEAM win. Whatever I need to do to help us win, I'll do it whether it be as a facilitator, scorer, or defender.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Honor every semester of High School. Principal's Honor Roll list. Finished my Sophomore year with a 3.7 GPA. 1st Semester of my Junior I finished with a 4.0 GPA. Volunteer/mentor at the Emery Heights Recreation Center in Washington DC. Science Award

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

The leadership skills I have developed come from watching my dad who is a high school football coach. I 1st lead by example with my relentless work ethic. I HATE losing, so I work hard. Secondly, I lead by example on and off of the court by doing the right things and staying out of trouble. I live by the "Do Right Rule", which means if it is not right or correct, then I do not do it.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I transferred from St. John's College High School to Coolidge mid-way during my Sophomore year. New school, but goals are still the same: win a championship & play College basketball. I broke my wrist the Spring of my Freshman year. I hated not playing.Breaking my wrist made me use my left hand, which strengthened my handles.

What type of college are you looking for?

A diverse family environment where I will be prepared for life after basketball. I'm looking for a place that I can be successful academically, athletically, and socially.
