Marli took her bumps this past weekend, but it never slowed her down. There were times she was limping and other times she had tissue up her nose to keep it from bleeding. Whatever the case was it did not matter she was still on the court giving one hundred percent. She also showed she can play any position on the court if necessary. If she needs to play in the post she will or if she needs to bring the ball down the court and set up the offense she will. Seibles will do whatever her team needs to help make them successful. A true selfless player!

Seibles is a familiar name to Prep Girls Hoops considering she was once a top performer at a Carolinas Freshman Showcase. Her Fire Ball Basketball Academy 15U assembling put together a dominant performance over Carolina Smoke 15U and Seibles was a key name on her team’s roster. She is an effective rebounder who takes full advantage of the height she possesses. Seibles also does not shy away from contact that can place her at the free throw line. In addition to wearing the Fire Ball uniform, Seibles is also a Firebird. She averaged 15.7 points, 7.3 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 3.6 steals and 1.1 blocks per game last season for a 1A Falls Lake Academy team that finished this past season with a 19-3 record. 

Marli Seibles Marli Seibles 5'9" | CG Falls Lake Academy | 2029 NC runs the floor well on both ends of the court being ready to defend the basket with transition defense and pushing the tempo going the other direction.  She does well finding her open teammates to get them some points, and she knows how to relocate to get the pass back from them running offensive plays.  She gets inside to grab rebounds as well, especially giving her team another chance on offense.

Marli is a tough combo guard that has been an impact player on a team that is undefeated in conference play this season in her freshmen campaign. She is averaging 16 points and is one of the top leaders in rebounds, steals and assists. Siebles has good size and strength at her position and a solid all-around game.

Marli is a strong guard with great vision and nice size. She is able to handle the ball well and does a good job of keeping her head up and hitting her open teammates. She rebounds well for her position. If she continues to work on her explosiveness and separation speed getting to the rim, she could be unstoppable with her strength. Her IQ is good for a 2029 prospect.

When basketball is not occupying the bulk of her athletic schedule, that is reserved for what she does in the volleyball realm. Regardless of what a defense may throw her way, Seibles will find her way around said defense and complete a play. She can handle the rock with either her right or her left hand and maintains a high degree of activity even when the ball is not in her hands. Seibles approaches the game with a high basketball IQ and a winner’s attitude. After playing with Fire Ball Basketball Academy which played on the Puma NXT circuit, she looks ahead to the 2025-26 season with a Falls Lake team that finished 18-8 last season and is remaining in 1A despite realignment.
