Barlow junior Marlie Williams Marlie Williams 5'9" | CG/SF Barlow | 2027 State OR is stepping into a leadership role in her third season playing for the Bruins. The 5-foot-9 forward has a strong frame to battle inside, but can also step out to hit from three-point range. Williams scored 18 points in 3 quarters at the Lakeridge Jamboree. She consistently ran the floor and scored in transition. She was dangerous on multiple baseline inbound plays. She was strong with the ball and used a smart physicality to create open looks at the basket. She knocked down the pull-up middy from the bounce on the elbow. She found open space on the perimeter to knock down a couple of catch-and-shoot three-pointers. She rebounded and protected the paint. Barlow will look to Williams as a leader and strong presence inside this season.

Marlie Williams Marlie Williams 5'9" | CG/SF Barlow | 2027 State OR is a multi sport and talented junior from Barlow High School. She excels at basketball, flag football and theater. A strong combo guard and competitor on the court, Marlie always rises to the occasion no matter where she competes.

This weekend at Gems in the Gym, Marlie stood out with her abilities to knock down shots in competition and her encouraging attitude towards her peers. She’s hard working on the court and isn’t afraid of a challenge. Her hard work ethic, dedication to the game and friendly attitude are what coaches look for in a player. It will be exciting to see where Marlie takes all her talents to in college. Wherever she lands, she truly will shine.
