Moore has been great throughout her senior campaign, but last night took her game to a whole another level. Heritage Hall upset 2nd ranked Community Christian. In the same match up two months ago, Hall lost by double digits. Quite the turnaround, especially with the pressure of the playoffs.

From the jump, Moore was hitting threes, scoring tough points at the rim and hitting free throws like ice ran through her veins. In the fourth quarter, she drilled a big three to break the tie. Then kept scoring as Heritage Hall never relinquished their lead. She’s a tenacious defender as well, forcing steals in the backcourt. And even blocking a last second three point attempt that sealed the win. It was a strong individual performance and a winning performance. With her skillset, size and tenacity, she’s proven to be a collegiate level player. While also still having a chance to make more memories and leave a mark for a suddenly exciting sleeper team in Class 3A. They’ll play Casady for the Regional Title on Saturday night.

Social Media Highlights

High motor senior, who works hard to score “easy” points in transition. Also effective in the halfcourt by moving to open pockets of space. Which includes spotting up from three, or cutting to the rim. Has started to put together loud scoring performances, including 25 points earlier this week against Harding Charter. Displays similar strong determination skills on the defensive end. Appears to be a quality utility guard, who can fit in a variety ways at the next level.

Gritty senior guard, who has a nice spin move that allows her to pressure the rim and be a good finisher. Seems to play with the right kind of “chip” on her shoulder. Good hustle rebounder for her size, as she doesn’t wait for the ball to come to her. She goes and gets it. Had a great contested offensive rebound, then an even better quick feed to a teammate against Metro. Mix in makes from threes, and Moore has a strong all around game.
